Drupito Expands Drupal Hosting to Accept Existing Codebases
Developers and agencies can now bring their existing Drupal codebases to Drupito's managed hosting platform, according to a company press release published by The DropTimes on 2 November 2026. Drupito says the expanded service is available from that date, adding a hosting option for teams that already maintain their own Drupal projects.
Drupito already offers a marketplace where customers can choose websites built on codebases maintained by other providers. The expanded service allows customers to host their own codebases instead of relying on a marketplace foundation. Both approaches support multiple websites sharing a single codebase, allowing agencies to reuse a common foundation across client projects or organisations to manage several sites using the same underlying code.
According to the published press release, introductory hosting plans start at $29 per month when billed annually, compared with the regular price of $35 per month. Marketplace website plans are available from $10 per month with annual billing. Hosting plans vary according to codebase counts, websites per codebase and storage allowances. The announcement does not specify when introductory pricing will end.
Ashraf Abed, founder of Drupito, said in the press release that the company wants to give developers, agencies and organisations “a practical way to run their projects and use a shared foundation across multiple websites.”
The expansion follows earlier discussion of Drupito's plans to accept existing Drupal projects. In The DropTimes' coverage of Talking Drupal on 11 August 2026, Ashraf said migration of existing sites had not yet been implemented, although the platform was being designed to accept existing codebases, databases and files. The new press release announces codebase hosting but does not provide details about database migration, file transfers or supported Drupal versions.
Drupito directs customers to its hosting page and pricing page for information about the service and available plans.
