Come join our team of Drupal experts as a full-time DevOps Engineer based in the US or Nearshore working fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize Drupal Implementation. This includes Automation of Builds and Deployments and Environment Refreshes
- Maintain and support continuous integration process
- DevOps process documentation, new and updates
- Development team support (CI and dev tools)
- Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of web applications
- Consult with clients on hosting / launch requirements
- Provide accurate level of effort time estimates for project estimates
- Assist in release/deployment planning and execution activities
- On-Call Operational Support of Enterprise Business Applications
- Disperse and train US and Philippines -based IT teams in LAMP, LEMP Stack and Drupal related implementation, operations and support skills
Qualification
- Drupal, Pantheon, and/or Acquia expereince is a must
- 3+ years experience supporting secure web applications.
- Experience with Drupal architecture, best practices, and coding standards
- Strong experience in administration and management of LAMP, LEMP Stack environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and scripting language HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript, Jquery) web server using SSH as well as various web-based applications
- Drupal 7, 8 or later experience in building and configurations, security updates
- Drupal administration
- Scripting with BASH
- Experience with Ansible
- Docker experience
- Drupal testing with tools such as PHPUnit, Visual Regression Tests (boostrap.js), cypress etc,
- Administrative and configuration with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Pantheon or Acquia
- Implementation and support experience on Varnish and Memcache, Redis Cache
- Experience with Jenkins, Travis
- Strong Git skills
- Experience implementing Private and Cloud Based Implementations of Drupal
- CDN Experience working with Drupal
- Familiarity with SSO Models and architectures
- Knowledge about Drupal file and image handling capabilities.
- Experience with working with VMs and using metrics to define sizing requirements
- Experience with third-party applications/tools and integration
- Experience working with third-party vendors and ability to support/troubleshoot different layers of the stack
- Knowledge of web application security considerations
- Excellent skills in high traffic web site operations, administration, pro-active maintenance and problem solving skills to ensure optimal working and performance of the websites and minimize downtime
- Excellent verbal/written/training communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem solving abilities
- Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience working with international teams
