Center for Research Libraries

The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is an international group of university, college, and independent research libraries established in 1949. It focuses on supporting research and teaching in various fields, including the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. CRL preserves and provides access to a wide range of rare and uncommon primary source materials from around the world. The organization is located in Chicago, Illinois, and is managed by a Board of Directors made up of members from the library, research, and higher education sectors.
