SpaceBase

SpaceBase is an organization based in New Zealand focused on creating a collaborative platform for the space industry using Drupal 8. The team consists of space scientists and collaboration experts, including four Drupal developers and one designer. SpaceBase aims to share as much of its code as possible and is developing a versatile platform that can be used by various communities right from the start. A key area of innovation for the organization is data federation, which will enable multiple platform instances to search and collaborate on shared data. SpaceBase envisions a space industry where everyone has equal opportunities to participate, based on their skills and ambitions. To support this vision, the organization plans to provide education and entrepreneurial resources to those who need them, with the goal of making space more accessible to all.
