YOYOW

YOYOW, which stands for "You Own Your Own Words," is a blockchain-based content value network designed to reward participants who create, share, or comment on valuable content through token incentives. The platform aims to distribute the traffic benefits that are typically controlled by large social media companies more fairly among content producers, supporters, website owners, content curators, and ecosystem builders.

The YOYOW Foundation collaborates with community participants to develop various plugins, including a Joomla-based plugin that is already available and a Drupal plugin that is currently in development. The foundation also works with the Drupal community and the Drupal Association to promote the use of the YOYOW network within their ecosystem.

Key features of the YOYOW network include a blockchain-based token incentive system for user-driven content engagement, OAuth and QR code login capabilities, direct token transfers to reward content creators, and permanent storage of content on the blockchain for copyright protection.

Since its mainnet launch in 2017, YOYOW has improved user experience and built a substantial user base and partnerships. The platform has opened its blockchain source code to the public.

Website owners can benefit from YOYOW by monetizing content, increasing revenue through a token-based advertising management platform, and enhancing user engagement. Users can manage their private keys for cross-site logins, ensuring ownership of their content, while also enjoying low-cost, permanent content storage and copyright verification.

YOYOW's ecosystem includes several high-quality content platforms, such as the blockchain-based Q&A community Biask, the MDL Talent Hub for entertainment resources, and the knowledge Q&A system WeCenter.
