Tidsskriftet for Den norske legeforening

Tidsskrift for Den norske legeforening (The Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal and a membership magazine for the Norwegian Medical Association. The content is primarily published in Norwegian, but most scientific content is translated into English. The journal follows the guidelines of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and is a member of the Norwegian Trade Press Association (Fagpressen), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).

Tidsskriftet was established in 1881 and started publishing online on tidsskriftet.no in 1996, putting all content freely avilable since 1.1.2000.Tidsskrifet.no was moved to Drupal 7 in 2016 and Drupal 8 in 2021.

The website is a fully featured platform for scientific publishing, supporting fx the needs for XML-import, references and various systems like DOI, Orcid and XML-feeds for indexing in the Pubmed-database. Tidsskriftet is, due to Norwegian ad-banner standards, served in two widths - 980 px (desktop) and 320 px (mobile).
