Matthew Gonnering

Matthew Gonnering joined Widen in 2000 and served as the company’s CEO from 2009 through its acquisition by Acquia in 2021. He began his career with Widen as a salesperson for printing services, and over the years developed sales and marketing teams to focus on software growth. As CEO, he transitioned the business from prepress into software by investing in software services, marketing, and employment culture. He is responsible for the core strategy with a focus on innovation, continuous growth, leading the executive team, and aligning the organization to purpose, vision, values, and culture. Prior to joining Widen, Matthew worked for various organizations in the printing and publishing industry.
