Wim Leers

Wim Leers has been a part of Drupal since 2007, when he first used Drupal to create a website when he was in college. He is Senior Principal Software Engineer- Drupal Acceleration Team in Acquia.

Wim contributed modules like Hierarchical Select Module and CDN module. He was a contributed module, theme or distribution maintainer, Drupal core sub-system maintainer and Drupal core initiative coordinator. He managed multiple documentation guides like BigPipe Module, CKEditor module and more.

He has attended multiple sprints, DrupalCon and Drupal Camps. He is credited with 20 security advisories and 288 issue fixes in the last year. Wim has contributed Drupal patches, Drupal installation profiles, Drupal issue queues, Drupal translations and automated texts. He has reviewed project applications and mentored new contributors.
