About

Nick is obsessed with marketing data, technology, automation, and creating a better future for all. He has worked in analytics-driven marketing since the late 1990s in various aspects of programming, systems architecture, data visualization, production engineering, project management, quality assurance, training, support, and technical leadership.

After graduation, Nick spent 15 years designing, building, and supporting software solutions to process and analyze consumer data with a focus on efficiency, privacy, and security. This time was split between being a developer creating new software in .NET, PHP, and Java, a project manager working with teams around the world, a product owner overseeing solutions, and a leader to engineering teams.

Looking for a new opportunity to work more closely with consumers, designers, and marketers, Nick joined Sandstorm. Here, Nick is in charge of web analytics, conversion rate optimization testing, personalization, and anything “big data”. This includes websites, search engines, social channels, business data, and any platforms that require analysis to produce actionable insights.

In his spare time, Nick enjoys music festivals, travelling with his wife, and envisioning what science fiction today will be scientific fact tomorrow.
