Hi, I'm John. I've been in technology for about 16 years in a few different roles - mostly technical, but some customer facing. Most recently my career has revolved around data, cloud infrastructure, and the money that it all costs. FinOps is part of it, but "cross company performance optimization" is how I prefer to think about it.

I obsess about data models and business processes and nothing brings me greater professional joy than finding ways to send less money to cloud vendors.
