Born and raised in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Roman Pronskiy has been working as a software engineer and writing about PHP for 10 years. After that, Roman joined JetBrains to work as a Product Marketing Manager for PhpStorm IDE. Roman is the author of a monthly “PHP Annotated” newsletter. In 2021, Roman helped the PHP Community to launch The PHP Foundation, and ever since, Roman has been managing the operational activities of the foundation.
