Drupal 10 Not to Support IE 11
The Drupal Association will not support Internet Explorer (IE) 11 in its new version Drupal 10 set to be released towards the middle of 2022. Microsoft in the second quarter of 2021 had already announced its decision to retire the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application on June 15th 2022 and terminate support.
Microsoft is now promoting Microsoft Edge to replace IE, to address concerns regarding speed, security, and better browsing experiences. It also promises improved compatibility and streamlined productivity. Microsoft claims enterprises have 1, 678 legacy apps on average2.
As to Drupal 10, work is progressing steadily to meet the schedule on the release of the new version of Drupal.
