MidCamp Session Submission Ends Today

Comment

The MidCamp 2023 Call For Speakers is closing on 25 January 2023. If you or someone you know has an exciting and informative topic to share, now is the time to submit the session. This Chicago based event is giving potential speakers the opportunity to submit their talk ideas and join the Drupal community in presenting at the event.

Session Guidelines

Mid camp put out a few session guidelines for all those that have and are yet to submit their session talks.

  • We encourage experienced speakers to submit talks for a beginner audience.
  • Use a format that works for you and your topic: formal talk, panel, short documentary, spoken word, musical, etc.
  • Sessions should be 45 minutes.
  • We prefer for sessions to be presented in English. If you need a translator, please mention that.
  • You are welcome to submit more than one talk, but speakers will usually only have one session selected. (Some might appear also on a panel.)
  • You may promote a project or organization you are working on if it is relevant, but please no sales pitches.
  • We prefer speakers to speak on issues affecting groups they belong to, instead of speaking to issues on another group's behalf. (That is, a panel about "Women in Drupal" should be composed of women.)
  • Speakers are expected to follow our code of conduct.

MidCamp 2023 commence on April 26-28, 2023. This Chicago-area event brings together designers, developers, users, and evaluators of the open-source Drupal content management software.

Note: The vision of this web portal is to help promote news and stories around the Drupal community and promote and celebrate the people and organizations in the community. We strive to create and distribute our content based on these content policy. If you see any omission/variation on this please let us know in the comments below and we will try to address the issue as best we can.
