In 2018 Jeff Geerling, currently the Principal Technical Architect at Midwestern Mac LLC, and Chris Urban, who works at Confluent, organized the Drupal Local Development Survey. In this survey, Drupal developers worldwide were asked about the tools and techniques they use to develop exceptional websites.

The survey is directed to any Drupal programming work, whether big or small. This is not affiliated with any Drupal group; it is simply a community study designed to showcase some of the most commonly used tools used by Drupalists for their projects.
