DrupalSouth 2026 Ironstar People’s Choice Award Voting Underway

DrupalSouth 2026 Ironstar People’s Choice Award Voting Opens

Voting is underway for the Ironstar People’s Choice Award at DrupalSouth Wellington 2026, a community-driven recognition determined through direct voting within the Australia and New Zealand Drupal ecosystem.

Four nominees have been announced: Adam Bramley, Alex Matthews, Nicole Ritchie, and James Scott. Adam is recognised for maintaining critical Drupal core modules and contributing nearly 400 issues. Alex has supported the community through long-running meetups, event participation, and advocacy. Nicole has contributed through organisational leadership, including her role in shaping the DrupalSouth Wellington programme. James is noted for long-term technical contributions, project maintenance, and mentorship within the community.

Voting is limited to active members of the Drupal community, including individuals with Drupal.org profiles and those connected to the Australia and New Zealand ecosystem through residence, work, or ongoing contribution. Only one vote per person is permitted, with organisers stating that if multiple submissions are received, only the first will be counted.

Voting closes on 30 April 2026 at 23:59 NZST, and the result will be announced during DrupalSouth Wellington. Participants can cast their vote through the official form. The award recognises peer contribution and community impact.
