Danny Bluestone is all praise for Drupal in his new blog. The Cyber-Duck founder and CEO puts forth Drupal as the best choice for enterprises. In the blog published on the Cyber-Duck website, Danny explains the salient features of Drupal that make it the right fit for enterprise-level CMS.
Cyber-Duck also works with other reputed Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress. According to Danny, unlike the others, Drupal offers a set of features that helps a lot when it comes to enterprise-level CMS frameworks. He cites the following factors as Drupal’s advantage:
- Customizable for bespoke websites
- Scalability
- Multiple language support
- Quick evolution through the open-source community
- User-friendly for users and internal teams
At the same time, he has a point against Drupal - its learning curve. Drupal has a higher learning curve for beginners when compared to WordPress. This won’t be an issue for organizations with in-house technical skills or access to developers who can write the required custom codes. He clarifies that once the Drupal CMS is in place, a developer won’t be needed to create or update a new page every time. Marketers and content teams can easily do this.
Danny says Drupal will be a sure bet for dealing with organizational, operational and content complexity. According to him, Drupal is built to handle large volumes of content, power apps and integrate with external Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Security is another one of Drupal’s strengths, the blog says.
