University of Nebraska-Lincoln Upgrades to Drupal 10

University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) has announced a major update regarding its Content Management System (CMS). The university is set to upgrade its web platforms to the latest Drupal version. The transition to Drupal 10 will provide the institution’s web properties with a next-gen experience. Drupal 10 will improve web accessibility as well as the performance of the web. According to the university, the upgrade will occur over the next 18 months.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a leader in higher education web development. Among the top research universities, it has many firsts. UNL brought in the first domain-wide framework, the first responsive design, and the first website with a dark mode.

Since 2011 the university has used Drupal. Drupal was chosen through a comparative analysis. Since then, Drupal has emerged as the default choice in the higher education sector.
