Drupal Community Hosting Meetups Across France; Next Stop Bordeaux

Bordeaux, France

This year, in anticipation of DrupalCon Lille, the community is gearing up with in-person meetups across various cities in France and French-speaking countries. Each month, Drupal enthusiasts and professionals will gather to share knowledge, network, and prepare for the upcoming conference. The next meetup will occur in Bordeaux on June 29, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM CEST.

Leading digital consultancy firm Ekino graciously offered excellent facilities to host the event. Additionally, Sully Group, a prominent technology solutions provider, generously sponsored the refreshments, ensuring participants could indulge in a delightful evening.

It's worth noting that the Association Française des Utilisateurs de PHP (AFUP), a prominent PHP user group, has also organized a Meetup event on the same evening. Attendees are kindly requested to register for only one of the two events and answer a question during registration to assist organizers in planning the catering accurately.

The evening will kick off at 7:00 PM with a warm welcome to all attendees, followed by the AFUP Bordeaux board elections and the latest association announcements. Joachim Desarmenien will have an enlightening session on the OpenAI module, ChatGPT, and AI Search Integration, demonstrating the power of artificial intelligence in Drupal. Julien Joye's talk, titled "REX: Healing me softly — Open-source is not perfect. Neither am I," provides valuable insights into the challenges and triumphs of open-source development.

Post informative sessions, there will be a cocktail reception, allowing participants to network and engage in fruitful discussions. The event will be streamed live on Teams, allowing remote attendees to join in virtually. A Teams call link will be shared for easy access to the stream. For those unable to attend the event, the video recording will be available on Drupal France and Francophonie's YouTube channel later.
