Drupal Brisbane Community Gears Up for September Meetup!
The Drupal Brisbane community is gearing up for a vibrant meetup event on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM AEST at 66 on Ernest, South Brisbane. The event promises a rich blend of knowledge sharing, networking of the Brisbane Drupal community and celebrating the rich heritage of the local Turrbal and Yuggera peoples who have lived in the area for over 32,000 years.
As a mark of respect and acknowledgement, the event will begin with a warm "Galang nguruindhau," or hello, in the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples' language. The community recognizes and pays tribute to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, honouring their enduring connection to the land and their role as the custodians of stories for millennia.
The evening kicks off at 5:30 PM, followed by engaging presentations, including an in-depth discussion on the Module Builder module. Attendees can look forward to lightning talks, where anyone with a quick 5-minute presentation can share their insights. The event provides ample opportunities for attendees to connect and continue discussions over provided refreshments.
