DrupalSouth Announces 2026 Splash Awards Winners

Winners of the 2026 Splash Awards were announced on 13 May 2026 during DrupalSouth Wellington, recognising Drupal projects and community contributions from across Australia and New Zealand. Sponsored by Ironstar, the annual awards programme highlighted work in digital experience, design, government, open source, and community-focused initiatives built on Drupal.

Salsa Digital won the Corporate DXP & Community category for Kids’ Corner, a platform designed to provide children with accessible information as they navigate the Australian family law system. The project focused on accessibility and safe digital engagement for younger audiences.

Morpht received the Design / UX award for the Medical Device Single Audit Program, recognised for expanding an initial pilot into a broader organisational platform. Morpht also received runner-up recognition across the Corporate DXP, Government, and Community categories for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority Reef Knowledge System.

The Open Source category recognised Ackama for contributions supporting Drupal integration in OSV Scanner through the Drupal Advisory Database. Salsa Digital received runner-up recognition in the same category for work on the AI Context project focused on governed AI workflows and context engineering.

PreviousNext won the Government category for the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct platform supporting Sydney’s performing arts sector. The agency also received the Best in Show award for Unifying Cancer Australia’s Websites through a GovCMS Consolidation, a project focused on consolidating multiple government websites into a unified platform.

Tomato Elephant Studio received runner-up recognition in the Corporate DXP and Design / UX categories for the Ausco website. Community recognition through the Ironstar Community Awards also highlighted Adam Bramley and Nicole Ritchie during the event.
