FOSDEM 2024 Invites Developers Worldwide to Collaborate and Share Ideas
FOSDEM, the renowned free event for software developers fostering collaboration and idea sharing within the open-source community, has announced its call for participation in presentations for the upcoming twenty-fourth edition scheduled for February 3rd and 4th, 2024. Held at the ULB Campus Solbosch in Brussels, the event traditionally attracts over 8000 developers from around the world. Developers are invited to submit proposals for presentations, with main track presentations covering broad topics of interest and lightning talks providing a platform for short talks on diverse subjects, encouraging submissions that may not fit into other tracks.
FOSDEM's Developer Rooms, which focus on specific themes, also welcome proposals, and details can be found on the Calls for Papers. The event, recognized for its highly developer-oriented nature, offers an opportunity for the global open-source community to connect and collaborate. Submissions for presentations can be made through pretalx, with ongoing reviews and a default deadline of December 8th. FOSDEM encourages proposals that adhere to the conference language of English and relate to Free and Open Source Software, reminding participants of the FOSDEM Code of Conduct.
