Kevin Quillen Announces Candidacy for Drupal Association Board

Kevin Quillen, a veteran of the Drupal community with over 16 years of dedicated involvement, has announced his candidacy for a board seat at the Drupal Association in the upcoming 2024 elections. Currently serving as a Practice Lead at Velir, Kevin has a rich history of contributions to the Drupal ecosystem, including developing numerous modules and themes that have added new functionalities to the platform. He is also a prolific writer, sharing his insights on Drupal through articles on his agency's website and his personal blog, kevinquillen.com. 

Kevin's notable contributions include co-authoring the Drupal 10 Development Cookbook with Matt Glaman and planning an updated version for Drupal 11. Additionally, he leads a group of community members in exploring AI initiatives for the upcoming Drupal 11 release and actively participates in the Starshot initiatives.

"I would like to contribute more than just code to Drupal. It is in our interest to maintain and provide Drupal as a high-end digital public good among its contemporaries while constantly striving to improve it to attract developers, builders, and end users."
