"Migrate Wizard" Eases Drupal 7 to 10 Content Migration
A new Drupal module, Migrate Wizard, has taken the stage to revolutionize content migration between Drupal versions, simplifying the often-complex process for users without programming experience. Developed by Carlos Romero Alvarez, a dedicated Drupal developer, the tool offers a user-friendly interface designed to facilitate migrations from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.

The module, which has been in development for over a year, aims to streamline what can typically be a daunting task for site administrators and developers alike. "Migrate Wizard" makes this critical upgrade process accessible, offering a no-code solution that significantly reduces the technical barriers for Drupal users. Its ease of use, combined with its robust functionality, stands to make it a vital tool for those still using older Drupal versions.
Although the module has been available for several months, it now comes under the official security coverage of Drupal.org, ensuring greater confidence for users concerned with security best practices. This milestone marks an important step forward for Migrate Wizard, which is still undergoing continuous improvements.
"There is still a lot to do, but this is just the beginning,"
said Carlos, acknowledging the progress made so far and his plans for future feature enhancements.

Carlos, who developed Migrate Wizard as a solo project, is set to share his expertise at the upcoming DrupalCamp in Benidorm on October 26th. He will lead a workshop on automatic content migrations, collaborating with fellow Drupal expert, Julian Valero. The event is expected to offer an in-depth exploration of how the module works, as well as practical insights into its application in real-world scenarios.
Hiberus, a digital transformation company, has supported the development of the module. Carlos thanked the team for their continued interest and encouragement throughout the project.
For those involved in the Drupal community or those simply curious about content migration, Migrate Wizard is now available for review and use on Drupal.org.
