DrupalCamp Colorado 2025: Organizers Seek Community Input on Event Focus
As preparations begin for DrupalCamp Colorado 2025, the organizing team is reaching out to the community for input on what inspires attendees to participate and how the event's focus should evolve. For those of you who are passionate about the future of DrupalCamp Colorado and wish to be the voice of change and innovation, record your response here. Traditionally centered around Drupal and its ecosystem, the camp is now considering whether to broaden its scope to include other areas of open-source development and support.
One of the key questions posed to the community is whether the camp should expand its focus to include other open-source platforms such as Laravel, Joomla, WordPress, and Next.js. Alternatively, the event could incorporate sessions aimed at supporting Drupal-related roles, such as project management, user experience (UX) design, and sales. Some participants may prefer that DrupalCamp remain dedicated strictly to Drupal and closely related projects, maintaining its position as a key event for those deeply embedded in the Drupal ecosystem.
The survey seeks to capture diverse perspectives on how to shape the future of the event. The feedback gathered will directly influence the marketing efforts, session topics, and overall direction of DrupalCamp Colorado 2025. For the first 20 responses, the organizers will be donating $5 per response to the Black Girls Code. If you'd like d.o issue credit for participating in the survey, please add a comment to https://www.drupal.org/project/dcco/issues/3482314.
