Yas and his team have successfully established a robust development process for Drupal custom modules, incorporating automated testing with PHPUnit, all efficiently managed through a customised GitLab CI/CD pipeline. This setup replicates the automated testing framework employed by Drupal.org, achieving a key objective in their development strategy.
Building on this success, they have taken the next step by learning Behaviour-Driven Development using Behat to enhance automated testing processes for Drupal custom modules, particularly within the realm of cloud orchestration.
The session will discuss practical strategies for creating reusable, template-driven test scenarios in Behat to simplify test creation and maintenance. Enhancing Drupal with PHP 8: Exploring New Features and Compatibility
