Views Data Export Sprint 4: Issue Reduction and Drush Review
Steven Jones of ComputerMinds reported on the progress of Sprint 4 in maintaining Views Data Export, documenting efforts over a two-week period. At the start of the sprint, there were 109 open issues in the Drupal.org issue queue, which was reduced to 100 by the end, including a decrease in open bugs from 45 to 40. The primary goals were to review remaining bug reports and reintroduce Drush commands. While not all bug reports were addressed, one fix was committed, closing two tickets. The planned Drush-related code changes were not committed due to concerns about implementation, prompting a decision to refactor and separate parts of the code before revisiting Drush-specific elements in Sprint 5. A release is anticipated at the end of the next sprint, along with ongoing efforts to update documentation and prevent duplicate issues on Drupal.org.
