Talking Drupal to Record 500th Episode with Community Guests
Talking Drupal will record its 500th episode on May 2, 2025, with a special “Community Edition” that brings the spotlight to the Drupal community itself. Instead of featuring a single guest, the episode will include voices from across the ecosystem—developers, contributors, and advocates who’ve shaped the project and supported the show over the years.
To participate, individuals must be available between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EST, have a camera, headset, and a quiet space, and be comfortable using Zoom. The Guest Request Form must be submitted by April 25, with final invitations going out by April 28. Space is limited, and not all submissions may be accommodated.
The guest list already includes key figures in the Drupal project, including Dries Buytaert, Drupal’s founder and Project Lead, along with respected contributors such as Jason Pamental, Tim Lehnen, Mike Anello, and Jacob Rockowitz.
Reaching episode 500 is a meaningful milestone for one of the longest-running podcasts in the Drupal space—an opportunity to reflect on how far the community has come and where it's headed next.
As part of this milestone, The DropTimes is preparing a special content series exploring the story of Talking Drupal—from its foundation and evolution to its role in the present and its future in the Drupal ecosystem. Gather more details here.
