The Drupal Burkina Faso Association is planning to bring back DrupalCamp for its second edition on April 25–26, 2025, at Joseph KI-ZERBO University in Ouagadougou. The event is not yet confirmed, as organizers are currently seeking sponsorships to meet a $15,500 budget and make the camp accessible to local developers and tech professionals.

More than 300 participants are expected, including developers, students, business leaders, and decision-makers. The camp will focus on Drupal’s role in Burkina Faso’s digital transition, offering two days of workshops, talks, and training sessions covering open-source technology, digital governance, and practical skills with the Drupal CMS.

Sponsorships are critical to covering core costs such as venue rental, high-speed internet, meals, and communication materials. Packages range from $165 to $4,920, with benefits including event visibility, media exposure, and networking access.

Tim Lehnen, CTO of the Drupal Association and a past guest speaker at the event, voiced his support publicly:

“There is great opportunity for Drupal in Africa with the emerging growth of the tech sector throughout the continent—and a little support goes a very long way.”

Organizations and individuals interested in supporting the event or joining as speakers can contact Seferiba Salif Soulama or Tim Lehnen directly. Full sponsorship details are available at https://drive.google.com/file/d/16STP41aJ-yjrwIPva5t4eMWBjOdCdOLr/view
