CKEditor Recaps DrupalCon Atlanta 2025: CMS 2.0, New Plugins, and AI Tools
At DrupalCon Atlanta 2025, the Drupal community introduced key updates including Drupal CMS 2.0, following the January launch of Drupal CMS 1.0, with a focus on usability for marketers, agencies, and content teams. The keynote by Dries Buytaert highlighted the new Experience Builder and site templates aimed at improving editing and accelerating setup. CKEditor, a sponsor of the event, showcased enhancements to its free Drupal Plugin Pack during a talk by Aleks Kicior, introducing new tools such as Select All, Auto Image, Emoji, and accessibility-focused features like Link Attributes. Mrina Sugosh, Developer Relations Manager at Tiugo Technologies, presented on prompt engineering techniques for building custom GPTs to support content workflows.
