Drupal Association 2025 Board Election: Nominations Open 19 May
The Drupal Association has announced the timeline and process for its 2025 at-large board member election, with nominations set to open on 19 May at 00:00 UTC and close on 30 May at 23:59 UTC. This year, the community will elect a new board member to fill the seat currently held by Fei Lauren, whose term concludes after two years of dedicated service.
Candidates must self-nominate and provide a biography, their Drupal.org username, reasons for running, qualifications, current membership status, and availability for community forums and in-person meetings. Nominations must be submitted via email to [email protected] during the nomination window.
Announced candidates will be made public on 2 June. From 2 June to 16 June, community members will have the opportunity to learn more about each candidate. Two open forums will be held on 11 June at 09:00 UTC and 17:00 UTC to facilitate direct engagement.
Voting begins 18 June at 00:00 UTC and closes 11 July at 23:59 UTC. To be eligible to vote, Drupal Association membership must be active by 00:00 UTC on 17 June. The new board member will be announced on 15 July 2025.
