DevBranch has released Drupal Extend, a PHPStorm plugin designed to streamline Drupal development and boost efficiency. Shared by Drupal Architect and community leader Bohdan Artemchuk, the plugin is already being used by developers around the world.

The tool offers deep autocomplete support for content and configuration entities, including Entity Construction Kit (ECK). It provides smart, customizable suggestions for fields and their properties, such as `$node->get('field_user')->en`. Render elements, themes, hooks, and entity queries are all supported with intelligent autocomplete and reference providers. It includes type providers for static methods like `Node::load`, service loading via `\Drupal::service('')`, and storage operations like `loadMultiple` and `loadByProperties`. Developers also benefit from visual enhancements like highlighting for render elements and themes, powered by an annotator.

Drupal Extend is compatible with JetBrains AI tools helping developers write cleaner code even faster.
