Drupal Cafe Lutsk #30 Recap Highlights Community Meetup and Organiser Insights
A recap shared by DevBranch outlines the 30th Drupal Cafe Lutsk meetup, held on 26 February 2026 in Lutsk, Ukraine, as an anniversary edition of the local community event series. The summary was provided by Nataliia Khomiuk, functional manager at DevBranch, in an email communication dated 16 March 2026. The event brought together local Drupal participants for a programme combining talks, informal interaction, and community recognition.
The programme included three sessions addressing different aspects of the Drupal ecosystem. According to the organisers’ summary, Ivan Doroshenko presented a personal account of his transition from Drupal development to service in the National Guard of Ukraine. Oleh Bohut of Anyforsoft delivered a session titled “Happy 25th B, Drupal! What’s next?”, examining Drupal’s position in the current technology landscape and its future direction following its 25th anniversary.
A third session focused on the structure and organisation of the meetup itself. Titled “Unpacking Drupal Cafe: Organizers’ Insights,” it introduced participants to internal processes such as speaker selection, partnership coordination, and the time and resource commitments required to sustain recurring community events. The inclusion of this session indicates an effort to make the operational side of the meetup more transparent to attendees.
Beyond the formal sessions, the event retained its community-oriented format. The organisers reported that participants received JetBrains certificates, while speakers were given event-specific merchandise. Food arrangements supported by the Anyforsoft team and photography by YozmaTech contributed to the overall experience, which concluded with an afterparty extending discussions beyond the scheduled programme.
Speakers at the event received exclusive merchandise, including T-shirts carrying the phrase “I spoke at DrupalCafeLutsk”. According to the organisers, the Yozmatech team captured the event photos and published them on their Facebook page in an event photo album.
Organisers indicated that additional Drupal Cafe Lutsk events are expected later in 2026, positioning the anniversary meetup as the starting point for a new cycle of community gatherings. The event continues to function as a local anchor for Drupal engagement in Lutsk, maintaining continuity within the regional ecosystem.
