Drupal Developer Explores AI Orchestration for Multi-Day Analysis Workflow
Artificial intelligence is often treated as a coding assistant, but a blog post by Andres Torres Russo, a senior Drupal backend developer, explores a different approach. He documents an experiment in which AI was used as a structured research partner to analyse a geopolitical conflict over multiple days, producing an evolving analytical document.
The experiment centres on what he calls “AI orchestration,” where the human defines questions, frameworks, and judgment while the AI handles large-scale information gathering and synthesis. Rather than acting as a chatbot, the system is directed continuously, allowing it to maintain context and build layered analysis over time.
Andres compares this approach to systems thinking in Drupal development, where understanding dependencies is key to managing complexity. He argues that AI can reduce the effort required to produce large-scale analysis, but emphasises that outcomes still depend on human oversight, critical thinking, and verification.
