Drupal Association Seeks Input for First Global Ecosystem Retrospective

Community Feedback to Inform the Board Retreat at DrupalCon Rotterdam

Community members have until 20 September 2026 to submit feedback on the strengths, vulnerabilities, and threats affecting the Drupal ecosystem. The Drupal Association Board of Directors is gathering responses through what it describes as its first global Drupal Ecosystem Retrospective ahead of its Board Retreat at DrupalCon Rotterdam.

The Association says the responses will help shape the Board's understanding and direction before the retreat. Respondents are asked to provide three to five points in each of four categories covering fragile areas, issues needing reinforcement, established strengths, and external threats.

The retrospective uses The Three Little Pigs as its framework. “Straw” represents fragile areas, “Sticks” covers areas with some strength that need reinforcement, and “Bricks” represents parts of the ecosystem considered dependable. The “Big Bad Wolf” category asks respondents to identify external threats.

DrupalCon Rotterdam is scheduled for 28 September–1 October 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Community members can submit feedback through the Drupal Ecosystem Retrospective form.
