Baddy Sonja and Sleep Work Live

Drupal Dev Days Live Streaming

The Drupal Dev Days session on the 6th of April 2022 consisted of talks and a live demo on the Alexa skill manager module, a session on the design thinking documentation tool, GitLab Acceleration Update, and an advanced permission system with groups and more.

Bjarney (Baddy) Sonja, the owner, and co-founder of 1xINTERNET and the Board Chair of the Drupal Association, during her keynote, focused on Sleep Work Live. She shared her experience of beginning to attend events like DrupalCon, stories with her team members, and her company's working style.

Sonja also played a message from the Drupal Ukraine community members. In the video, the members thanked the Drupal community for their support, which was very important for them. This supports the message that the Drupal Association had earlier released in solidarity with the Ukraine Drupal community.

The main focus of her session was personal life balance and how you can be the best you. She talked about the 8-8-8 that her company follows to have a work-life balance in her speech. This style talks about eight hours of sleep, work, and life. She also talked about teamwork, communication and collaboration, and workplace or remote working.

During the session, she explains how she and her organization work, and it's different. She gives examples of how a company can change its ways to create a healthy workspace and how you can change yourself to have a healthy and happy life as an individual.
