Fox Valley Drupal Meetup and Migration to Drupal 9

The Fox Valley Drupal Meetup, will be held on 15^th June 2022 at 8:00 CDT. The topic for the meetup is ‘The Importance of Retention, moving from D6/7/8 to D9/10’. The presentation and facilitated discussion will be led by Bob Snodgrass after the introductions and announcements.

This will be a guided discussion designed to help site owners and Drupal service providers make the most of the extended dates for Drupal 7 end of life. The discussion will be on the reasons, challenges, and possible solutions to make the best of the extra year to make this happen.

The session is being organized by Bob Snodgrass, Andrew Olson and Ralf Koller. Typically the meetups are held on the third Wednesday of the Month. The focus will be to offer opportunities for group members to grow their understanding and appreciation of the Drupal framework and create a cooperative community in the far western suburbs of Chicago.
