Proven experience in Drupal 10+ development and administration.
Strong experience with GOV CMS, PHP, MySQL, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (including AJAX and JSON).
Experience developing responsive and accessible web applications.
Strong understanding of API integrations and third-party service connectivity.
Experience working within secure or government environments with exposure to cyber security best practices.
Delivering accessible, standards-based web outcomes (WCAG 2.1 AA).
What you'll be doing
Supporting and maintaining current digital health portal Website (GOV CMS, PHP, MySQL, JQuery)
HTML5, CSS and JavaScript (AJAX, JSON).
Responsive website development (across all platforms including mobile).
Ensuring our website connects and interfaces to back-end systems, databases and analytics integrating Drupal with 3rd party services and API’s.
Lead successful solution architecture, design and development activities for various digital initiatives with a focus on Drupal 10+ (and additional upgrades/updates as required).
Investigate and analyse innovative and practical web application solutions to meet strategic initiatives and cyber security improvements. Working closely with IT, Web Services and Cyber Security areas at the Agency to align with testing protocols across all web environments and deployments.
Develop and maintain documentation as part of the development lifecycle including writing technical requirements, design documents and release plans as required.
Provide expert-level technical advice and support in response to web related issues, maintenance requests and application defects as required.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on translating digital concepts into business benefits and deliverables.
Identify, research, evaluate, develop and deploy new processes and features to our websites and Intranet, in line with our digital strategic direction and product roadmap.
