Drupal Back-End Developer Job at DICTU

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Drupal.
• Integrate Drupal with modern frontend solutions such as Next.js.
• Design and implement scalable architectures, including Kubernetes environments.
• Set up and improve CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines.
• Build system integrations through APIs and standards such as SAML and OAuth.
• Contribute to architectural decisions at both tactical and domain-wide levels.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, platform teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensure performance, security, privacy, and accessibility standards are met.
• Identify and reduce technical debt while improving development standards.
• Experiment with new technologies and apply them in practice.
• Actively share knowledge within teams and across the organization.
• Promote and encourage the use of open-source solutions.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level thinking and working ability (HBO/WO).
• Extensive experience in backend development using PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Next.js and integrations with backend and CMS systems.
• Experience with Drupal (or similar CMS platforms), containerization, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/K8s).
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards such as SAML and OAuth.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards, including BIO and OWASP.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. 

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates will have an advantage if they also have:

• Experience with Nginx.
• Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies.
• Experience working in government organizations or other complex enterprise environments.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
