DrupalCon Chicago 2026 Publishes Updated Health and Safety Guidance

Updated guidance consolidates health, safety, and conduct resources ahead of the 2026 event
DrupalCon Chicago 2026 Sets Clear Guidance on Health, Safety, and Inclusion

Updated health and safety guidance for DrupalCon Chicago 2026 has been published by the Drupal Community Working Group (CWG) ahead of the upcoming event. The update consolidates conduct policies, travel considerations, and preparedness resources into a centralized reference for attendees.

The guidance was developed by the CWG’s Community Health Team in collaboration with the DrupalCon Steering Committee. According to the announcement, previously published information has now been moved to the official DrupalCon Chicago Health & Safety page to ensure a single authoritative source for updates.

All participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and staff, must adhere to the DrupalCon Code of Conduct in all official conference spaces and affiliated activities. Reports of violations may be submitted to event staff or emailed to [email protected].

The Health & Safety framework draws on comparable event policies used by other North American open-source and professional communities.1, 2, 3, 4 The CWG notes that this work will contribute to a reusable template in the Planning Drupal Events Playbook to support future Drupal events.
