Custom Field Module Fox Valley Drupal August 2026

Andy Marquis, Maintainer of the Drupal Custom Field module will demonstrate the features and benefits of using Custom field for building complex, repeatable, or nested content in Drupal.

Custom field provides dynamic custom field types with extensive widget and formatter plugin support. A highly performant & scalable alternative to paragraphs and entity reference by storing data in a single table. It is well-documented, used by over 3300 sites, with excellent support and security team coverage!

Andy has been a valued member of the Drupal community, with many contributions over the last 17 years Drupal.org, We will probably hear more about his other projects as well, such as Token Browser.
