Delivering web solutions for commercial and public sector clients since the mid-90s has given me extensive experience, a keen sense for what works online and what drives audience behaviour.

From a background of project management and programme delivery, I combine a strategic overview with practical and pragmatic decision making. I firmly believe that mastering the detail determines the success of any project.

One of my key roles as owner of Sparks Interactive is making sure websites meet their key business goals, and that clients and their stakeholders have a great project experience. To do this we have invested in building a great team over the long term, and put sustainable and maintainable solutions at the forefront of our digital practice.

I've been making websites since 1997, and making them with Drupal since 2007. I manage a web agency that specialises in Drupal, and open source contribution. We've published an open source distribution called Sector since 2016. I have spoken at DrupalSouth, organised DrupalSouth 2017 in Auckland and DrupalSouth Shorts online series in 2021. 

In 2020, I joined DrupalSouth as a Committee Member with the aim of supporting Drupal's growth and community across New Zealand and Australia.
