The Sector distribution

Sparks Interactive were looking to change the way they worked and contribute more to the Drupal community, so in 2016 published their in-house Drupal base install profile - Sector D7. Sector D8 followed in 2018, along with extensive documentation for editors and sitebuilders and since March 2021 we have a stable release for Drupal 9 (https://www.drupal.org/project/sector/).

Sparks have used Sector to build websites for many of their clients and have won a New Zealand Open Source Award for Sector and the Forest & Bird website.
