Matthew Saunders (MatthewS)

Matthew started working on the Web in 1995 at Le Groupe de la Place Royale, an experimental dance company in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. This became an obsession with bleeding edge technologies. After completing a certification in Non-Profit administration at the University of Ottawa, he went on to complete an MFA at Virginia Tech concentrating on Technology and organizational management.

His decades of experience in the technology sphere as a project manager and Web application architect segued into joining the Drupal community in 2007. He has extensive experience in many project management methodologies and has spoken on this topic at numerous DrupalCons and DrupalCamps including keynoting at DrupalCamp Austin. Saunders was on the DrupalCon Denver organizing committee and has been helping plan and run DrupalCamp Colorado since 2007 when the event consisted of 14 participants.
