The Drupal Community Working Group is continuing the partnership with Otter Tech to offer live, monthly, online Code of Conduct incident response training for the Drupal community. The next training session will be held on 08 February 2023 from 02:30 AM to 06:30 PM CET. 

Aim of the workshop

The training is designed to provide "first responder" skills to Drupal community members who take reports of potential Code of Conduct issues at Drupal events, including meetups, camps, conventions, and other gatherings. The workshops will be attended by Code of Conduct enforcement teams from other open-source events, which will allow for the sharing and exchanging of knowledge with the Drupal community.

Attendees will be taught best practices for responding to Code of Conduct violations, as well as strategies for ensuring that an effective and respectful atmosphere is maintained. The goal is to empower Drupal community members to handle issues quickly and with compassion, minimizing the potential for any further escalation of the issue. 

After Completion 

Drupal community members who successfully complete the workshop will be provided with a community contribution credit on Drupal.org and may be listed on Drupal.org (in the Drupal Community Workgroup section) as a means to highlight their successful completion of the training. Furthermore, they may receive additional recognition from the Drupal community, including notations on their individual profiles on Drupal.org, as well as invitations to exclusive events and recognition programs within the Drupal community.
