Are you someone with stage fear but have many things to convey to a larger audience? Do you mind confronting the anxiety disorder by circumventing the pressure triggers and presenting your session via alternate means? DrupalCamp Asheville is providing you with a way.

The Asheville DrupalCamp provides alternatives to the standard live presentation format and anxiety-reduction tools for anyone interested in presenting to support people of all degrees of comfort with public speaking. First-timer, remote, and pre-recorded sessions are welcome. Learn more about DCA's Neurodiversity Initiative.

DrupalCamp Asheville is looking forward to a successful 2023 event. The three-day camp will include training sessions, contributions, lightning talks, and more. It will be held from July 07-09, 2023, at UNC Asheville Highsmith Student Union.

DrupalCamp Asheville is an annual conference that concentrates on hands-on instruction, community contribution, and knowledge exchange for Drupal users of all levels of expertise, with an additional community day spent outdoors.

DrupalCamp Asheville is an entirely volunteer-run program. Sponsors enable them to provide incredible professional growth experiences for participants while keeping admission prices low. So most definitely look into becoming a sponsor.

The Registration fee for DrupalCamp Asheville is $50 (early-bird) and $75 (regular).

Lunch, coffee, and snacks are included.

Call for Training Sessions

If you have a half-day workshop idea you would like to share at the camp, they are currently accepting training proposals. The deadline for training proposals ends on March 28, 2023.

The call for sessions is now open as well.

April 25, 2023 - Deadline for all session proposals
May 02, 2023 - Sessions selected
May 16, 2023 - Session schedule announced

Call For Papers

As part of their Neurodiversity Initiative, they allow you to share your expertise by publishing articles on their website.

These are the final deadlines:

June 12, 2023 - Final deadline for all article proposals
June 19, 2023 - Final deadline for accepted article content
July 26, 2023 - All accepted articles will be published
