Drupal Meetup in Budapest to Feature Discussions on Open Source, Web Development and More

Drupalists in and around Budapest are anticipating the regular meetup scheduled to take place today on June 29, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM CEST. This free event is open to all interested and  promises to be a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking within the Drupal community.

One of the highlights of the upcoming Budapest DUG meetup will be a session led by Dávid Andor, a seasoned Drupal developer, focusing on innovative approaches to data storage and configuration behind Cache, Queue, and Logger services. Dávid's experiment involved developing a module that replaces the default data storage mechanisms with alternative solutions. Through this project, he gained valuable insights and knowledge, which he is excited to share with the community.

The meetup will also feature discussions and presentations on various topics related to open source technologies, web development, CMS (Content Management Systems), PHP, and, of course, Drupal. Attendees can look forward to engaging conversations, valuable insights, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and enthusiasts.

The event will be held at Klaudió Civil Központ, Nagy Diófa utca 34 in Budapest. Organized on a regular basis, these meetups have become a staple for Drupal enthusiasts in Budapest looking to expand their understanding of the popular content management system and related technologies. With sessions conducted primarily in English, participants can expect an environment  to learn and exchanging ideas. Further details, including the precise location and any additional updates, can be found on the official Drupal Budapest Meetup website.
