Genero Launches Kamihaya Drupal Distribution for Streamlined Website Setup

Genero, a technology company based in Tokyo, unveiled the "Kamihaya" distribution for Drupal on August 31, 2023. This distribution is designed to simplify and expedite the process of setting up a Drupal site by bundling frequently requested features and configurations. 

Drupal distributions like Kamihaya package themes, modules, settings, and content types are tailored for specific use cases or industries, offering a quick and efficient way to establish a Drupal-based website. Kamihaya aims to provide a template for rapid Digital Experience Platform (DXP) deployment, catering to various application scenarios.

The Kamihaya distribution offers a range of functions, including content management, product and commerce management, integration with various systems like authentication, subscriptions, and payments, and coordination with user information management tools. Notably, this distribution also incorporates design components that adhere to the design system defined by the Digital Agency, ensuring consistency and accessibility in web service design.

While this release includes 16 out of the 23 defined design components, it's part of a broader initiative to promote these components for use in government websites and web services. Genero's "Kamihaya" distribution v1.0 is a noteworthy addition to Drupal, streamlining website creation and enhancing design consistency.
