Ricardo Sanz Ante, Chief Technology Officer, Metadrop and an active participant in Drupal Camp Spain 2023, has generously made the content from this year's Drupal Camp Behat workshop accessible to the wider community. This workshop, held during the Sevilla Camp, focused on testing with Drupal and included theoretical foundations and practical exercises utilizing Behat, a popular testing tool in the Drupal ecosystem.

The workshop is designed to help individuals better understand Behat and its application in Drupal testing. Although the presentation slides are available only in Spanish, the practical exercises are provided in English, ensuring accessibility to a broader audience. This practical component is precious as it allows participants to implement what they've learned and solidify their understanding.

The workshop encompasses two repositories: one for the presentation used as a guide and the other for a pre-configured Behat environment ready for execution. The presentation consists of three sections: an introduction to Behat, guidance on configuring the testing environment, and the practical part featuring user story-based exercises. Importantly, each activity comes with a reference solution, providing participants with valuable insights into problem-solving.

To access the workshop materials and get started with Behat testing in Drupal, interested individuals can follow the provided instructions, including cloning the repository and configuring the environment. By offering this workshop content to the public, Ricardo Sanz Ante and the Drupal community contribute to the growth of knowledge and expertise in Drupal testing. Read more here.
