This initiative, which has been making waves in the Drupal community, found its roots at DrupalCon Portland 2022 when Drupal's visionary leader, Dries Buytaert, put forth the concept of "Drupal Starter Templates." What has emerged since is the dynamic Distributions & Recipes Initiative, poised to redefine the way Drupal users configure and install their websites.

The significance of this initiative lies in its ability to simplify the setup and configuration of common Drupal use cases. Whether you're looking to establish a blog, launch an e-commerce platform, or dive into API-based content delivery, recipes have got you covered. Unlike traditional distributions that demand ongoing maintenance, a recipe is a one-time installation that can coexist harmoniously with other recipes on a Drupal site.
