Drupal Code of Conduct Online Training Sessions

Drupal Community Working Group and Otter Tech together are holding live, monthly, online Code of Conduct incident response training for the  Drupal Community. The workshop helps train “first responders ” against incidents that violate Drupal Code of Conduct at events( both virtual and in-person).

A wide range of skills and communication techniques are covered during these training sessions equipping community members to be of service, should the occasion warrant it. It gives practical, hands-on experience including how to support a person making such a report, evaluating the report, and how to effectively follow up with a reported person

The workshop will also include tips for protecting reporter privacy, frameworks for deciding consequences of inappropriate behavior, discussion on the bias, intent, microaggressions, personal conflicts, false reporting, and power dynamics

The workshop includes 40 minutes of Q&A time. A facilitator experienced in Code of Conduct enforcement will answer any questions you have. The workshops are run completely online via Zoom.

The workshop duration is 4 hours. The 2022 workshops will be held on Wednesdays. The first one happening on February 16, 2022, from 9am to 1pm PST (5pm to 9pm UTC). The cost of the workshop is $350, but you can sign-up for a $50 discount code.
